One trend that isn’t going anywhere soon is smokey eyes, the classic party eye make up. Having make up that makes you confident in social settings is definitely what all us ladies aspire for. This looks sexy on anyone even if your eyes aren’t big or bright. The key to this Smokey Eye Makeup technique is finding the proper way to blend the eye shadow together flawlessly. Blending light colors with dark colors are the best way to go. Getting this look is very simple and only takes about five minutes. First you need to prepare the eyelids, make sure the skin is clean before putting any make up on. It helps it stay on and look better. If you want to keep the shadow from going into the creases of your lid try oil-free “primer”. Apply eye liner starting in the middle of the upper eyelid and work your way out. If you want the look to be darker, make the line thicker in the middle of the eye. On the bottom, you will want a lighter color and smudge it to get the full smokey eye effect. Next apply light base color. Most people prefer light creamy and shimmery colors. Sweep the eye shadow from your eyelid to your eyebrow bone. Then you blend in the dark shadow but not above the crease. Start blending at the eyelash line and move it upwards ending at the crease. Make sure that everything blends in, even the make up into the eyeliner. Finally finish with Mascara. Volumizing does wonders and really opens the eye and makes it pop. Make sure you keep everything balanced and not looking like a clown. Wear nude or light lipstick to contrast with your eyes. Now you have a fantastic Smokey Eye Makeup look and are ready for anything from going out or hanging out. You should have a ton of confidence and feel beautiful.
